If you thought preserving your youthful looks meant endless rounds of cosmetic surgery, think again.
You can keep your skin young and beautiful by following a diet rich in antioxidants. You can find them in green tea, dark fruits (e.g. berries) and in an algae called chlorella, among others. You should also drink a lot of water to stay well hydrated from the inside.
When choosing a face lotion, don’t forget to check that it has a UV filter and all necessary active ingredients. These are: hydrolysed collagen with elastin, which ensures deep moisturising, increases skin elasticity and enhances cell regeneration; hyaluronic acid, a glycosaminoglycan responsible for giving your skin a fresh, healthy look, protecting it from drying out and enhancing its immunity system; opuntia ficus indica oil, the so-called natural botox, rich in vitamin E, phytosterols and unsaturated fatty acids which smooth out and invigorate your skin, as well as protect it from free radicals and UV rays.
