London for centuries was one of the major fashion capitals of the world. Trends born here, roamed the world. No wonder that today many artists dream to showcase their work in the British capital, those who conquer this city, can easily manage everywhere.
Emerging and established Polish designers also understand London’s status in the fashion world and a selection of these artists are soon to be presenting their work at the “and Just Be Fashion Show” in London’s Kilburn. Some of them are novices, but some, like Diana Friday, are already widely known on the UK market. Diana has presented her projects at countless shows including, the “Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity” in London. Her designs are also available in various luxury boutiques in the heart of London. We will also see exhibited the work of Grażyna Sadowska and Bilberry. Monic Millinery will present hats; Nakama, jewellery; Novak, shoes, and the Nemesis company will show its clothing collection.
Miss Poland in the UK
This event will take place on the 16th of April in the popular club “Love and Liquor”, located just off Kilburn High Street. The agency and “Just Be-Art and Fashion Promoters”, who are also organizing Miss Poland UK 2017, are presenting this event. During the fashion show not only will details be announced of upcoming events but the date for the official start of recruiting the candidates for Miss Poland will also be revealed.
“Britain will be treated by Miss Poland as the seventeenth province” – explains co-organizer, Marta Borowiecka. – “This means that the winner will represent the UK in the semi-finals as if it was Mazowieckie and Pomorskie.”
Not Just a Fashion Show!
This evening also offers an opportunity for women wishing to start a career as a model; “Polish Faces”, the first Polish modelling agency in the UK is opening its books for new faces at the event. As the organizers say: “It is going to be a great show. We would like this time for the event to not be directed only to the Polish audience. We want to open up to London and its multicultural diversity, Paweł Majewski from the agency “and Just Be-Art & Fashion Promoters”, goes on to say – “That’s why we have invited guests from the international environment of models, with the participation of well-known brands and their representatives.” In addition to the fashion designers’ presentations, there will be a vast array of cutting edge entertainment, the Dominika Krajewsky’s underwear collection will be presented by the Playboy’s models, upcoming singer Eveline and Arabella Drummond will be juggling fire. Among the special guests there are: the finalist Top Model UK Ewelina Kisiel, Miss Poland Mielec Klaudia Skawińska (both will perform in the show of the Bilberry brand) and Ewelina Skorczyk, representing UKBFF Bikini Competition. The event will be conducted by well-known presenter and model Katie Ice and jazz musician Luc Eden.
